I’M BACK PLUS SOME MAGIC

September 3, 2010

Sorry about the long hiatus. I am feeling better now.

Today as i was out and about i saw a mother with her two sons. Seeing the way she treated them as individuals, with their own opinions, and her attentiveness to them and her liking of them as i sat and waited to get my hair cut was Real Magic.

Heaven and Music

February 21, 2010

The Yulang say that heaven is full of unheard music; I’ve always thought that Lemon was one of the few who could reach up and pluck it down from the spheres.

Fall Leaves

September 19, 2009

Hello again everyone. Its good to be back. For this first post back i thought i would post in the Real Magic category. Fall leaves turning, for those of us who experience this, is Real Magic. The vibrant colours on the trees, the leaf patterns that fallen leaves leave on the sidewalk, the smell of fallen leaves, the crunch of  leaves as you walk and the joy of playing in them. Spend some time out walking in the fall on a nice sunny day and let the leaves leave you smiling. The following wonderful picture which really captures the magic of autumn leaves was taken by capn madd matt and found on Flickr.

More Real Magic: smell

August 7, 2009

The smell after it has rained; the deep smell of plants and flowers and trees sucked into the air by the moisture of the rain.

The smell you get on your hand after rubbing lemon balm or tomatoe plant leaves.
