I am think about at some point starting a group that would be a place for christians, non-christians who are interested in finding out more and people in between. It would be a group for those who shy away from the regular church because of bad experience or because the form that regular church takes is not a form that fits the person God made them. It would be a much more mysterious group-enjoying the mystery of things and not trying to define things so much. It would be a place where people would come to meet God and get to know Him better, but in a not so traditional way.
What form would the group take? There would be a shared meal, there would be the central thing for that meeting and maybe a time to share ones perspective. There would not be arguing about a persons views, this would be a place were you could safely express your real thoughts, feelings about things and be accepted. It would be a place of patience and kindness.
What of the things-well we might
watch a movie,
read some poetry,
listen to some music,
watch some tv,
listen to guitar music,
go out into to nature,
read some bible passages
go to a music festival,
and see how God speaks to us through these things, and maybe share what has touched us.
